EMG 707 To Passive Conversion "IR" Rings Please email me first before buying so that we can make sure this will fit correctly on your particular guitar. These rings are really aimed at the "do-it-yourselfer" as they're not just drop in and install" type jobs. All 7 string pickups are not the same and the height screw holes on my rings are inside the EMG routes and most pickups are not. This means, in most cases, that YOU must modify the tabs for the height screws to fit inside the EMG pickup route, and let me know where they’re located. This includes cutting the tips of the tabs, and possibly bending them in towards the pickup to fit the route properly. A visual reference for how these get installed into the existing pickup route: These 3/16th" (5mm) thick rings allow the installer to use the inside of the route to mount the rings. Therefore keeping the guitar looking original if you choose to go back to the original style pickups. These can be made to a thinner thickness, but the screws will not be counter-bored, they will sit on top of the ring surface. I also don't recommend plastic any thinner than the 3/16ths (5mm) thickness for strength. Please inquire. These are designed to be used with the "direct mount" pickup screws on my hardware page. (HWsc-12)(not included in price) If you need the neck cutout clearance for the fretboard, that is an additional $3.00 for THAT ring only. 1 Pair of rings, in the black anodized brushed aluminum, with the neck ring cutout clearance for the fretboard, is a total of $53.00 for the pair. If you do not need the cutout clearance, the pair would be $50.00 *NOTE-The customer will have to supply some way to keep the surface from being scuffed from the ring as I will not be responsible for damage to the customers guitar. Also, it's also up to the customer to bend in the little tabs of the pickup rings in order to fit them into the route and line them up to the finished "IR" rings. Or, it's even possible to drill new holes and tap them if you're handy.
