"Hey,

Here's the picture of the Schecter C7. Looks 100% better with the pickup
rings I got from you, and some other chrome hardware. I'll definitely
recommend you to anyone looking for quality parts, especially 7 string
pickup rings, as they are almost non-existent. Thanks again!

Stan Rodak"

What a great looking guitar, and may I say the pickup rings look fantastic as well, but I'm a bit biased lol!

"Hi David,

I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the custom made pickup rings you made. They fit perfectly and give my bass even more of a refined look. I also appreciate your quick e-mail responses and how fast you had these in the mail. I have already recommended your website to other players and will continue to do so. Thank you again for the great experience!

  Yours truly,

  Ron DeLancey"

Unbelievable craftsmanship going on with this beauty!!

I was honored to help be a part of this project by making a custom set of pickup rings for Ron!!

"Dave,

I finally finished my bass project. Attached ar a few photos.

Thanks for the pickup rings. A small piece of the puzzle, but a critical element in achieving the look I was going for. Prompt, simple communication, prompt turnaround time and a quality product. What else could you ask for? Thanks.

This a great guitar with the graphic (Pile O' Skulls) finished by Dan Lawrence himself.

"Dave,

Here are pics of the rings that you did for me.

Although the pictures may not show it, they look GREAT!

Thanks,

Eric "

Nicely done bro!!

"Hey there Dave, I bought a bunch of parts from you a few months ago. Backplates, a whammy bar, a replacement whammy bar socket and nuts and bolts for the saddles on my Charvel. all i can say is wow. Your parts are amazing. My guitar looks and plays much better now. The backplates make me want to learn how to play with my teeth just to show them off and the JT6 tremolo works much smoother now that i have the proper bar to use it with in a now secure socket. I've attatched a bunch of before and after shots and should you wish to include them on your site i'd be honoured. Thanks again!!! Frazer."

Thanks Dave!!

"Hi Dave,

Got them yesterday. PERFECT fit and now I get to elbow grease shine the pickups if possible. I'll take before/after pictures and send them to you in case you want another pic on your website. Some Orville by Gibson owners are not aware of the BIG difference in appearance your parts make.

 Thanks again,

Carl"

"I ordered two Bill Lawrence L-500 pups from Bill & Becky to replace the
stock pickups of my Hamer Vector XT. When I received the pickups I
discovered their mounting rings were not the same size than my guitar's. I
asked Becky and she told me that they guaranteed the size for US-made
guitars, but not for imports. Being my guitar a Korean-made axe I thought I
was done. However, I found a reference to this site in the Hamer Fanclub. I
contacted Dave and everything worked as a breeze from then on. After several
emails we finally agreed on the specs. For a very reasonable price he made
for me two black custom-sized mounting rings. Everything took less than a
month. These rings fit perfectly to my guitar, and you can see them now in
the pictures below. Thanks to Dave for his professionalism, customer care
and attention to detail! And you can bet that for any custom job related to
the hardware of my guitars I'll contact him before anyone else."

"I got this XTRR around 5 years ago, and while I love the appearance, I was never convinced by the sound.  Since I got the guitar, it's had 4 different bridge pickups, and 2 neck pickups, and while each change has brought around an improvement, it still didn't sound great - the sound was kind of thin and the guitar just sounded pretty dead.  A friend of mine swapped the bridge in his XTRR and was amazed by the improvement in the sound.  Having got fed up with swapping pickups, I decided to give this a try myself and given Dave's reputation, going to anyone else never even crossed my mind!

After much back and forth about stud and string spacing, we established which size bridge was appropriate, Dave cut the string slots and sent it over to me.  The bridge arrived in a couple of days (no mean feat given that I'm in the UK) and so it was with bated breath I installed it - I must admit, I was blown away!  This bridge has totally made this guitar come to life - it had got to the point where the guitar was my 'last choice' XTRR because of the sound, but now it sounds as good as, if not better than, the previously best sounding of the 4.  I'm totally sold on this bridge, and in my opinion, Jackson should be fitting these bridges on all string thrus!

Thanks very much Dave - I'll be in touch soon for another bridge!

Cheers!

Ian"

Dave, I can’t thank you enough….! To be able to find someone to do precise quality work like this is fantastic.

My 1988 Jackson Is now finished, and with the Tremol-no in place and your cover it’s just fab. I have sent some picture to show how it all goes!!

I’ll keep plugging you on the Tremol-no forum or anywhere else where custom built guitar parts are needed.

All the best. And once again thank you for putting up with my constant E-Mails for what is such a reasonably priced piece of custom machining

Regards

Iain W.

Iain's Blue Crackle Jackson with special plate cut for the new Tremol-no:

Hey Dave:

Finally got the Peavery finished.  This one has your stock HB rings you did for another guitar we did some time ago and the single coil you made up for this.  AS you can see, much cleaner look with the rectangular ring you made than the usual ring for STRAT styles.  These rings really make those EMG's clean looking, and the finish is dead on for them. I'm going to send this one on to Rick at EMG also.

Another success for Frets on the Net.

See ya friend... always appreciate your work.

Mike.

Mike's Peavey with custom rings!!

Another one of my project guitars that wouldn’t be complete without Daves craftsmanship.  The anodized brushed aluminum parts fit like a glove, and were custom made for this guitar!  Thanks again to Fretsonthenet!

This is Marks VERY interesting custom that just shows the artistic talent that he has. I was able to provide the rear black anodized brushed aluminum covers and neckplate he had engraved:

This is a beautiful Ibanez RG that I was able to provide the owner with a set of

Pearloid rear covers and truss rod cover as well.
