
San Dimas Back plates
These are made from .093 thickness
black gloss plastic pick guard material (see the reflection of the light and
camera above them?).
It's the closest I have found in size to the original.
**A note
on these plates, it seems that somewhere between 1982 and 1983, the styles
changed a bit on the tremolo plate hole locations. The plate in the pic below
is made to fit "most" 82 and before guitars but unfortunately I have seen
them in a different pattern as well. Basically what I'm trying to say, is:

really can't guarantee that the holes will be
exactly the same as your Charvel because these
were "Custom" built guitars and there will be variances. In the case
that they wouldn't fit, I'd be happy to make a cover for you if you could
provide me with a cardboard or plastic template.

anodized aluminum for the later serialized models with the slot cut for the
vintage trems as well
